Miral al-Tahawy

Miral al-Tahawy is an Egyptian writer currently working as assistant professor of Arabic literature in the University of North Carolina. Her works include: The Tent, The Blue Aubergine, The Strumming of the Gazelles and academic essays. Her works have been translated into many foreign languages. Brooklyn Heights is her fourth novel.
