Mohammad Rabie is an Egyptian writer, born in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in Cairo in 2002 and his first novel Kawkab Anbar (2010) won first prize in the emerging writers' category of the Sawiris Cultural Award in 2012. His second novel Year of the Dragon was released in 2012.
