2011 winners to appear at the International Festival of Literature in Berlin

IPAF 2011 winners Mohammed Achaari and Raja Alem are to take part in the 11th International Festival of Literature Berlin, which takes place in the German capital from 7-17 September 2011. The festival’s opening speech will be delivered by Moroccan author Tahar Ben Jelloun.

They will appear alongside the very best writers from the international literary scene, including 2010 Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Harding, cult author Irvine Welsh, Man Booker Prize winners A. S. Byatt and DBC Pierre and internationally acclaimed crime writers Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs.

Tickets will go on sale from 23 June, and the complete programme will be available from 31 August 2011. For more information, visit the festival website.
