Raja Alem and Mohammed Achaari to appear at Berlin Literature Festival this weekend
 
Raja Alem and Mohammed Achaari will each take part in an event at the Berlin literature festival, Internationales Literaturfestival Berlin (September 7-17), this Sunday.  
 
Mohammed Achaari will discuss the effects of terrorism on a Muslim family at 11am whilst Raja Alem will talk about her novel and the ‘dark side of Mecca’ at 5pm. Both events will take place at the Upper Foyer of Haus der Berliner Festspiele.
 
The two IPAF winners are amongst many Arab authors taking part in international literary events this autumn, as outlined by the Cairo-based Arab Literature blog. For more information on IPAF-related author events this autumn, keep an eye on the news page.
