Host of IPAF authors participate in Sharjah International Book Fair

The 2011 Sharjah International Book Fair, which opened yesterday, will feature a large number of IPAF authors as part of its cultural programme.

The book fair, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, runs until 26 November 2011 and will include events with 2011 winner Mohammed Achaari and shortlisted authors Khaled al-Berry, Amir Tag Elsir, Miral al-Tahawy and Bensalem Himmich. Also taking part are 2011 longlisted authors Waciny Laredj, Ali al-Muqri, Ibtisam Ibrahim Teresa, Fawaz Haddad and Fatin al-Murr. Other authors nominated in previous years include Umaima al-Khamis (2010) and May Menassa (2008).
