Abla Jaber (Palestine) was born in 1988. She has a BA in Pharmacology and an MA in Organic Technology and works as a breast cancer researcher. She won the 2016 International Castello di Duino Poetry Prize and during the sixth edition of the Millions Poet Competition (2015), reached the Improvisation stage. The eminent Egyptian critic Salah Fadl has called her the ‘Antara of Modern Poetry’. She is the author of Oblivion (a novel, 2016) and is currently writing another novel called The Guillotine of Parting.
