Nadwa 2010

In October 2010 the second IPAF Nadwa took place, a workshop in Abu Dhabi for emerging Arabic writers from across the Arab world.

Seven emerging writers travelled to Abu Dhabi’s Liwa Desert for eight days of intensive writing, discussion and debate. These authors were identified by former IPAF judges as ‘ones to watch’, and the Nadwa is an opportunity to hone their skills under the tutelage of two former IPAF shortlisted authors, Mansoura Ez Eldin and Jabbour Douaihy.

The workshop was sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Ruler's Representative in the Western Region.
